This was the seventh full length released by Bill Callahan under the Smog banner, and it is also my favourite of his. Sad tunes sung with Bill's distinct baritone voice that are both haunting and melodic. My friend Adam describes his songs as musical heroin, and he couldn't be more right. Bill is like the Nick Drake of the 90's (sorry Elliott Smith).
