Two new songs from one of my favourite melodic hardcore bands. They'll have a new album out next year and if these two jams are any indication it is going to slay. I thought for sure that these guys were done, but thank Jah they're back. The second jam on here, "Tooth", sounds like Banner Pilot and that fucking rules. Get this now.

Their new album, and first since 2001's Here's To Shutting Up. This definitely sounds like classic early 90's Superchunk and I couldn't be happier. This is the most punk sounding album the band has released since Here's Where The Strings Come In 15 years ago. If this doesn't bring a smile to your face you're fucking hopeless and I don't want to know you.

Much The Same - Survive

This was released by Nitro Records in 2006, and would be one of the last records from the label. This is fast melodic hardcore that reminds me of NUFAN, Pulley, Bigwig and Millencolin all mixed together (throw some Lifetime in there as well). The band broke up shortly after this was released, which is a shame because these guys slayed. They totally nailed that mid-90's punk rock sound without sounding like a tired re-hash.
